I am still researching the George and Mary (HEIL) CROOK family of Cambria Co., Pa. I have located them living in Carrolltown, Carroll Twp., Cambria Co., Pa. Trying to research the CROOK line in my family. I need help!!! I have a Joesphine M. CROOK born in 1860. She married a Joannes (John) F. SENINGER later known as SINGER on 23 Feb 1879 in St. Mary''s Catholic Church, Altoona, PA. John was born 17 Mar 1855 in Altoona, PA and died 27 Sep 1897 in St. Lawerence, Camria Co. PA. Joesphine died 6 Oct 1898. Her obit states that she was then living in Patton, and that she is survived by 4 children, 5 brothers and a sister all of whom reside in Cambria Co, PA. Her youngest child a Russell Leo SINGER was only 4 at he time of her death. I found with whom he went to stay with, a George and Cecelia (KIBLER) CROOK. Cecelia''s obit lists Russell Leo SINGER as an adopted son and that she was born in St. Lawerence and a native of Cambria Co.. I was wondering if anyone may have information on this CROOK family. I believe that George and Josephine were brother and sister but would like to find the others. I believe their parents to be a George and Maria (HEIL) CROOK. Does anyone have any of these people in heir lines? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
